2016 Eel Monitoring - Volunteers Wanted!

Eel Surveying (2013) Image copyright to Lyndsay Wayman-Rook - MVCP

The elver recruitment monitoring programme is running again this year and here at MVCP we are looking for volunteers – there is an induction on Tuesday 12th April at 5:30pm, please see the poster (below).

Surveys will be taking place at Allington Lock on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays for about an hour, this is normally an 8:30/9:00am start but this timing is somewhat flexible. The season will start half way through April and finish at the end of September but we fully appreciate that committing to one day per week for that long a period is quite daunting and we expect and can accommodate for volunteers requiring some time off for holidays etc.

Please contact Derek on 03000 414842 to discuss
