ABOUT US

Medway Valley Countryside Partnership is dedicated to local conservation and educating and inspiring people of all ages. Led by our education officer, we provide Key Stage 1 & 2 curriculum linked activities. We offer the choice of indoor and outdoor school visits and can lead field trips to suitable nearby locations.  All staff are DBS certificated and are trained in the relevant fields of interests for students to gain the best experience from our activities.

ACTIVITY PLANS

 BRITISH ANIMALS

Discover the wonderful world of british animals through outdoor exploration and hand on learning with our nature collection. Learn about life-cycles and fascinating food chains.

NATURAL ART

Go on an exploration for natural materials and create an artistic masterpiece with the objects you find.

LIVING THINGS AND THEIR HABITATS

From ponds to woodlands, explore a variety of habitats and identify the animals that live in them and how they adapt and survive.

BRITISH PLANTS

Identify a range of plants and the difference between them. Learn about plant life-cycles and what plants need to survive and why some are even invasive.

HISTORY

Learn about the introduction of non-native plants, the chronological order of the discoveries and the adventurers that made them. Find out about folklore and the human use of plants through the ages.

SCHOOL GROUND IMPROVEMENTS

Our specialist team are experts in helping you to make the most of your outdoor space for nature and learning. We have been improving school grounds for nearly 30 years, creating ponds, willow structures, minibeast habitats and much more.

We offer advice and will work with you to plan and enhance your outdoor space.

FOREST SCHOOLS

Our staff are trained to level three forest school practitioners, who can lead Forest school sessions with your group.
